[Accepted] Churchx - Destruction Warlock

Post by Church » Wed Oct 11, 2017 11:11 am

1. Name, age, country and Battle tag.
Church, 30, I live in Germany but I am from the USA, Church#1831

2. Link to armory (please log out in gear you will raid in).
https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/chara ... ll/churchx

3. Artifact level?
1% away from 70

4. What are our raiding times, and do they suit you?
1945-2330 Wed, Sun, Mon. Yes, these times fit my schedule well.

5. What loosystem do we use? (This is meant to see that you have read our rules)

6. What guilds you were in and reasons for leaving? (short description)
I'm currently in Feint - Tarren Mill. I am looking for a new raid team because our team has not been able to put Mistress and Maiden on farm and we have had to extend the lockout of fallen avatar for a few weeks, and then cancel raids anyway due to lack of players. There is also plans to split raid in Antorus, but no guild runs to gear up alts to have them ready for split runs.

7. Logs of your past raids
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/id/26976747 On Harjatan, Mistress, and Desolate Host I was instructed to not do AOE and just spec single target, so my rankings for overall damage on those fights isn't great.

8. Screenshot of your UI (in a raiding situation)
https://youtu.be/5cQsSswbVs4 A video of our first Maiden kill from my POV.

9. What are the sites you use to keep up to date on your specc/class?
I read through icy-veins and wowhead guides, but the best info for Warlock comes from lockonestopshop.com.

10. Info about alts (if any)
I have a Blood DK (former main) and a Fire Mage.

11. How did you hear about our guild, what made you apply?
I found the guild on wowprogress and the progression, raid times, and lack of split runs caught my interest.

12. Describe the hardest PVE boss you killed (ever) - how long did your guild work on it, what was hard, what was good about the fight etc..
I would say the most challenging and fun encounter for me was Lei Shen 10 HC back when I was playing on NA servers. The fight presented extra challenges on 10 man and was a lot of fun to progress on.

13. Anything else that could convince us that you are a good addition to our raids.
I run a lot of sims of my character to ensure that I am always using the best gear that I have. I also keep a spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing) of my BiS items to maximize my bonus rolls and keep myself honest with my RCLootCouncil selections. I'm pretty decent with WeakAuras, short of LUA coding, and make my own WAs for raid debuffs and share them willingly with anyone in the raid that would like them.

14. Your plans for the next 6 months - will you be AFK on vacation or take a break from raiding?
Currently I don't have any plans on being away in the next 6 months, but as life is sometimes unpredictable, if something comes up I will give the guild leadership the most advanced notice I can if that changes.

15. Do you know anyone in the guild?
I don't know anyone but I chatted briefly with Seccy prior to writing my application.

Thank you for taking the time to review my application! Please let me know if you have any questions for me :)
